Polish designer Pawel Piortrowski designed The Sandwich Book to depict the tasty layers of a typical sandwich in a compact paper form. By alternating photos of ingredients with actual paper recreations, the artist uses each page of the book to convey the various textures and tastes, enclosed in a bread book jacket, of course.
I’m drawn by the visual correlation between sandwiches and books (they’re flat, layered, nourishing, and tasty, etc. etc.) so I’d like to see different types of sandwiches as different volumes (“The Reuben,” “The BLT,” etc.) [Via Picame Mag.]
