I’ve posted these free ink desktop wallpapers from Alberto Seveso before, but the Italian designer has released a brand new series of underwater macro photography: titled “a due Colori,” the photos feature two different colors of ink, swirling in rich plumes of color around each other.

There have been many imitations of this kind of ink photography, but no one captures the silky nuances of ink the way Seveso does, which is so dynamic that it almost looks like moving fabric or even alien plant life.

The sharp lines between the ink and the water reminds me that these are photographs that can only occur once– the water has to be completely clean before he pours in the ink for every single shot, to produce the sharp contrast between the two materials. [Via The Design Ark.]
