Every day for the last year, designer Zachary Graham has been illustrating, type-setting, and photographing his love visually for his wife, in this amazingly sweet project titled Love You Daily. The only limitation is that the images has to be a 500×500 pixel square, and its a testament to both his affections and his artistic skill.
The amount of work that goes into these designs is extraordinary, and Graham encompasses a vast variety of styles and ideas with each new day’s work. You can sense a certain intimacy in the design, as if the messages contain inside jokes and loving nods to the day-to-day life of between the designer and his wife. From Graham’s site:
Saying “I love you” is awesome and everything, but I wanted to give my wife more effort than those three syllables. Everyday I try to make something special for her. It started as images I would text her everyday. Eventually I set up a Tumblr dedicated to all the “I love you”s. No Rules or restrictions other than that all the images are done at 500×500 pixels.
The design is simple yet hearwarming, and its such a sweet gesture of something everyone should hear/see daily: “I love you, I love you, I love you.” [Via The Unicorn Kingdom.]
