Remember the city silhouettes of Beijing citizens by Jasper James I posted two weeks ago? These beautiful paintings by Pakayla Biehn have the same effect of two images in one, but are executed as paintings, rather than as photos.

The series, very cleverly titled Double Exposure, has images of flowers (and other lovely things) superimposed on top of bodies and faces for a surreal effect. The paint strokes made me triple-take when I saw the paintings, because I honestly thought they were photos layered with paint texture, or something similar.

To see more of her beautiful work, check out her portfolio site here. I wonder if she ever sells prints of these works…
