Drawing on the walls with permanent markers was a childhood specialty of mine that my mother particularly hated– but German artist Heike Weber has made plenty of art installations solely using permanent markers on vinyl floors, walls, and ceilings. Her psychedelic patterns undulate along gallery spaces, making flat surfaces look textured despite the simple medium.
Remember: everything is just permanent marker on vinyl!
Trippy. And mind-bending. But beautiful nonetheless– I’d love to walk along a gallery that has all the plain white space filled with Sharpie waves instead. [Via Triangulation Blog.]
